Program
Learning Through Play
We believe that learning at the preschool age is best achieved through play. Our school day is carefully crafted to allow for maximum child directed exploration through a variety of mediums, both indoors and outdoors. Our engaging curriculum fosters a hands on approach to early learning and social/emotional development.
We have adopted the Lively Letters and Second Step programs in addition to our child led and teacher provided experiences in order to provide the children and staff with a variety of mediums to engage learning. These programs fit wonderfully into our philosophy and provide a hands on, fun, approach to learning.
The Lively Letters program offers an engaging and effective approach to literacy instruction designed for children of all ages and abilities. Lively Letters uses multi-sensory techniques to teach letter sounds, phonemic awareness, and decoding skills in a fun and interactive way.
Why we love them:
-
Multi-Sensory Learning: Lively Letters combines visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles to help children understand and retain letter sounds and phonemic patterns.
-
Engaging Characters: The program features colorful characters and lively activities that captivate young learners and make the process of learning to read enjoyable.
-
Tailored for All Levels: Whether your child is just starting to learn their letters or needs to reinforce their reading skills, Lively Letters is adaptable to various learning stages.
Second Step is a hands on, researched based, program that helps to teach children the social/emotional skills that they need to thrive. With this program they will learn to:
